Prehranjevalne navade, ideje, vprašanja, recepti. :)

77 Healthy Snacks (jaz bi jih nekaj črtala, ampak okej :D , kakšni so pa prav fajn)

1. Apple slices (My kids love apples more than just about anything.)
2. Home popped popcorn (We love to pop ours with coconut oil. Yum.)
3. Celery sticks
4. Hummus and veggies
5. Tuna on crackers
6. String cheese
7. Roasted pumpkin seeds or squash seeds ( I love this recipe.)
8. Applesauce
9. Frozen grapes (These are super popular in the summer at our house. It allows you to stock up when grapes are on sale without them going bad before they can get eaten.)
10. Almonds
11. Craisins
12. Olives
13. Guacamole and chips (Homemade guacamole is easy. Just mash up an avocado and stir in a dash of salt, garlic powder and some dried minced onions. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.)
14. Clementines (These are my favorite citrus to buy because the kids can peel them themselves)
15. Quick fruit smoothie (frozen berries, ripe banana, yogurt)
16. Hard boiled egg
17. Roasted chickpeas
18. Cottage cheese with peaches
19. Cinnamon raisin almond balls (These are quick and easy to make and incredibly delicious. I highly recommend giving them a try!)
20. Fruit leather (We love to make our own using a dehydrator)
21. Crackers and cheese
22. Mini fruit salad (Strawberries, kiwi, blackberries)
23. Dip banana slices in yogurt, roll in coconut and freeze
24. Cantaloupe

29. One ingredient banana ice cream

31. Pineapple (Love pineapple)

69. Yogurt bites (You can make your own if you own a dehydrator)

72. Watermelon (For added fun, cut into shapes with cookie cutters)
73. Kiwi (Cut in half and scoop out with a spoon)

Colourful fruit skewers

12 wooden skewers
1 large ripe mango, peeled
2 large oranges, peeled
2 large bananas, peeled
250g small strawberries, hulled
1-2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp lime juice
1/2 cup honey
1 cup vanilla yoghurt
Soak skewers in cold water for 20-30 minutes. Cut mango and oranges into 3cm chunks. Cut bananas into 3cm slices. Thread fruit onto skewers, alternating the varieties, and place on an oven tray. Combine butter, lime juice and honey in a small saucepan and stir over low heat until butter has melted and mixture is smooth. Pour mixture over fruit, turning to coat.
Cook skewers on a lightly greased barbecue or grill plate until warm.
Cool and serve with yoghurt.

Nee, če kumara ni grenka ni grenka niti lupina, vsaj meni ne. Če je kumara grenka je pa itak za stran, fuj.

Joj hvala, jaz sem mislila da sploh ni užiten olupek, mi smo od vedno lupili, sicer pa trgovinskih ne bi v nobenem primeru jedla neolupljenih, te domače pa bom poskusila, hvala! PS: lahko zbrišete te poste, ker samo smetijo lušno temo :P ;)

Če je lepa lupina, ne lupim (prav tako ne bučk in melancan npr. - predvsem domačih ne).
A ni tako, da bi naj v lupinah bilo največ vitaminov?

Jaz jih tud ne lupim (enkrat sem jih samo, za en Kayin recept). So mi še boljše z lupino. Kumare z jogurtom, mmmm! Kumare, jogurt, mal kisle smetane, svež drobnjak in koper, česen, sol&poper. :woot: Najboljša poletna solata EVER.

Meni pa znajo biti sveže surove kumare pretežke za želodec, me dostikrat boli, ampak jih
vseeno jem, so mi ful dobre.

Se mi zdi, da imajo te trgovske kumare ful bolj težko in debelo lupino, domače so neprimerno boljše, ker je lupina tanka.

Jaz tudi naceloma ne lupim kumar, so mi veliko boljse neolupljene, hrustljave. Seveda, nekatere so grenke, z debelo lupino, sumljivega porekla. Te olupim oz. jih najraje sploh ne jem.

Pohvale za temo sicer! :woot: Ze zadnjic je Princeska nekam nalepila simpaticno pripravljen zajtrk za najmlajse (ok, lahko jejo tudi starejsi, no : )).

:yes: Se se sedaj spomnim ene risbe iz OŠ, smo narisali jabolko, spodaj pa napisali "Operi me!" in "Ne lupi me!". ; ) Ceprav danes se pri sadezih neznanega izvora vprasas, koliko usluge si delas, ce jih ne lupis. :/

Da se prestavimo...

Jaz imam ful rada pohane šnite, ravno ta vikend sem jih jedla. :D Marsikatera večerja ali zajtrk mojega otroštva. :D Gor sem si posipala sladkor in kakav. Slane mi pa nekak ne potegnejo.

Pri nas imajo vedno pozno kosilo, tako da so večerje bolj skromne, ali pa je sploh ni. Pač odvisno kdaj pridejo domov in kdaj je kosilo. Gres ali mlečni riž (z rastilnskim mlekom), kakšne palačinke, toast z maslom, kosmiči, mafini, olive (teh lahko na tone pojesta), avokado, kakšen namaz+ kruh, dedijeva suha salama :lol: , kumare z jogurtom, nič posebnega v glavnem. En je itak zbirčna Metka in ima svoj železni repertoar in noče nič novega probat. Kok me to zjezi! Jajčka so bolj popularna za zajtrk, najraje jih imata na oko (tamala po možnosti še z ocvirki- pa to kar surove zraven krade fuuuuj in jih je sposobna pojest, ma vse no! :o ), tamal zadnje čase nekaj je trdo kuhana.

evo zdaj sem se spomnila na kar nekaj zadev, ki sem jih doma jedla, pa čisto pozabila!!!!

pohana jabolka
prosena kaša (hvala Hevei za idejo s slivami)
tuna
šnite
gres
polenta z mlekom
predsvem pa kakšni namazi

Pismo, full smo bolj zravo jedli, kot pa jaz zdaj delam. Pri nas bi tudi samo en salamo in sir, drugi pa pašteto. Pa seveda palačinke z nutelo.

M. ima rad polento z zelenjavo (korenček, bučke, čebula) in olivnim oljem ali kajmakom. Lahko tudi brez maščobe. Večinoma jo sicer je za kosilo, včasih tudi za večerjo. Moja mami je velikokrat naredila en dan polento, ki smo jo delno pojedli za kosilo, del pa je ohladila in drugo jutro narezala na rezine ter popekla v ponvi. :njam:

Na misel mi pride še ajdova kaša (topla ali hladna), leča (topla ali hladna; jaz jo kuham v treh vodah, da ne napenja). Tako ajdovo kašo kot lečo mešam z npr. krompirjem za kosilo ali z razno zelenjavo za hladno večerjo.
