The use of horse urine for Premarin!!! PLEASE SHARE THE TRUTH AMONG YOUR WOMEN FRIENDS!

Premarin (including Prempro, Premphase, Prempac, and Premelle) is a drug made up of conjugated estrogens obtained from the urine of pregnant mares -- put out in many forms (pills, creams, injections, patches, vaginal rings) and is used to reduce the symptoms of menopause in women or women who have had a hysterectomy.

The horse is a beautiful animal. Did you know they are used in 'factory farms' for their urine

Probably the cruellest and one of the largest industries in the world is the PMU industry (pregnant mares' urine). Premarin is the third largest selling drug on the earth (right behind Tylenol), bringing its single maker over one million dollars per year. Premarin is prescribed to alleviate symptoms of menopause. However, the production of this drug has cost the lives of over one million horses.




To obtain the urine used in Premarin, mares are impregnated and confined for six months of their eleven month pregnancies, unable to turn around or lie down comfortably because of the small stalls, short chains and urine collection bags strapped to their bodies. This cycle of pregnancy and confinement continues every year until they are either barren or lame and they then are sold for slaughter.

There are several alternatives making the cruelty completely unnecessary. The demand for Premarin is high and so are the number of suffering mares – approximately eighty thousand on about seven hundred various farms. Mares will normally live for twenty to thirty years. Most Premarin mares will last about five years. Every year one-quarter of the mares are sent to slaughter and replaced.

The good news is that Premarin is the only menopause drug made with animal-derived oestrogen. Alternatives include Estratab, Estraderm, Estrace, Ortho-Est and Remifemin.

Side effects of Premarin:

■Estrogens increase the chance of getting cancer of the uterus.Report any unusual vaginal bleeding right away while you are using these products. Vaginal bleeding after menopause may be a warning sign of cancer of the uterus (womb). Your health care provider should check any unusual vaginal bleeding to find out the cause.
■Do not use estrogens with or without progestins to prevent heart disease, heart attacks, strokes, or dementia.Using estrogens, with or without progestins, may increase your chance of getting heart attacks, strokes, breast cancer, and blood clots. Using estrogens, with or without progestins, may increase your chance of getting dementia, based on a study of women age 65 years or older. You and your health care provider should talk regularly about whether you still need treatment with estrogens.

Sem videla to včeraj pri dnevniku,mi je pokvarilo večer.  Tega,ki je to naredil,bi bilo treba ubit, dobesedno.

Jaz sem pa totalno žalostna, ker je pri nas na Fužinah živel labodji par, ki je imel mladičke, ampak so žal vsi poginili, zdaj so pa čefurji tukaj ubili samičko in je samec zdaj skos sam in osamljen in mi je tok težko kako so lahko tako kruti no.

 

Pa baje že takrat ko sta mela mladičke so jim tamali skos nagajali, jih žokali s palicami itd. Tok ogabni ljudje no.

V Kosezah je tudi labodji par, 5 mladičkov. Jih je bilo 6, pa je enega baje pojedla neka ogromna riba, ko je bil še ful majhen.

Čim prej mi javite, kje se nahaja labod in če je še živ.

Okej, sem javu situacijo glede laboda na Fužinah. Zvedel sem, da se ne da kaj dosti narest, ker labodji par ostane skupaj za vse življenje in je zdaj preživeli labod v šoku, ker nima več partnerke. Druga stvar bi bila, če bi bil labod telesno poškodovan ali bolan, ker pa je divja žival, sklepam, da si bo moral dušo ozdraviti sčasoma sam. Nincha, mogoče bi bilo dobro, da mu kdaj daš kaj starega kruha, mogoče se ne bo počutil več tako zapuščenega. Pa še Galo lahko pelješ na sprehod ob vodi.
