Nč ne misliva, tako se reče po italjansko (pa to besedo uporabljamo tudi tukaj pri nas, druge ne poznamo. Ni pa to turški med, ne.) Men se zdi da sem nekje zasledila halva.

Ja, to je turški med z mandlji notri. Ja, mandolat rečemo na Primorskem, sicer pa je iz italijanščine. Po italijansko je mandelj mandorla, tako da sklepam, da zato tako ime.

Amm.. men se pa zdi da to ni to. Turški med je neki druzga. Kolkr vem ima turški med orehe, mandolat pa jih nima, nikoli.

Pomoje pa je to to. V italijanščini torrone. V tem pa so lahko mandlji, lešniki, različno. Razen če se motim in torrone ter mandolat sploh nista ista stvar. Kolikor se spomnim je na paketu vedno pisalo torrone.

Sj skor isto debato smo že mel, ene so ble za turški med ene pa ne... če pač turški med označuje, da je turški med sam in sam z orehi, pol res ne mormo rečt, da je to turški med.

Ze imeli enkrat debato okrog turskega medu, ja.
Na vrecki od mandolata pise torrone, neprimorci ne poznajo te besede ne, ampak jaz sem vedno enacila mandolat s turskim medom. Halva je pa spet malo drugacna, ni tako gladka in zvecljiva, bolj groba in lomljiva. Po mojih opazanjih je osnova pri mehkem mandolatu in turskem medu enaka, dodatki so lahko razlicni - od mandljev do arasidov in pistacij. Nisem pa jedla se ne turskega medu, ne mandolata z orehi. In vse omenjeno sem jedla pri nas, ne v domovini teh sladic, tako da je tam zgodba najbrz nekoliko drugacna.

Edit: na embalazi mojega mandolata, kupljenega pri najboljsem sosedu na slovenski deklaraciji pise "turski med". Na teh deklaracijah tako ali tako pise marsikaj, ampak vseeno - ocitno se je se nekomu zdelo, da je mandolat nekaj podobnega kot turski med. : )
