Ravno včeraj sem kupila zamrznjene gambere Frigomar in pogledam danes, v kateri ribolovni coni so bili ulovljeni, seveda ob Japonski. :/

Appeal over baby-killing butcher's $3000 compensation

The Queensland government will appeal a tribunal decision that awarded a baby killer $3000 compensation because he was forced to live on a vegetarian diet in prison. Halal butcher Raymond Akhtar Ali was jailed for life for the murder and dismemberment of a newborn girl whom he had fathered with his live-in baby sitter.

 

Ali was jailed for life in 1999 over the gruesome murder of his daughter just moments after her birth at his family's semi-rural Logan property on September 8, 1998. The infant was bashed, stomped on and sliced in half by her father, a trained butcher who slaughtered goats for the Muslim market, because he wanted to hide his infidelity from his wife. 

 

The baby's sexual organs were also removed and her body buried in a neighbouring property before it was eventually dug up by dogs.

A monumental thing happened in the Taiji cove yesterday, the first day of the 2013-14 dolphin hunting season. Even though the Taiji fishermen managed to capture a pod of about 60 bottlenose dolphins (still awaiting their fate), the Taiji cove was overtaken by Japanese protesters - a first in the history of the cove. While there is worldwide protest, many believe that if there is to be a change, it will come from within Japan and the Japanese people. Most make the mistake of blaming all of Japan for this travesty, when in truth, many Japanese people are unaware this is happening and those who do, find it as repulsive as you or I. Seeing this crack in the foundation was a remarkable sight. This gentleman actually went under the water and heard the cries of the captured dolphins and began to weep when he surfaced – it was both touching and surreal.
