Rafael Del Col wanted to do a tribute to his late wife Tatiane Valques, so he and his three-year-old daughter Raisa recreated the couple‘s pictures together.
Tatiane died in a car crash in 2011, when Raisa wasn‘t even one year old. Tatiane was pregnant with the second child at the time. The original pictures were done in 2009, a week before the couple‘s wedding. In the recreation of the solo shot, Raisa wore the same jewelry that Tatiana used in the shoot. Even the dog is the same in both sets: Rafael had bought Raul for Tatiane when they had just started dating.
Yes, it can happen so quickly. Life as we know it can change in a blink of an eye. Unlikely friendships can blossom, important careers can be tossed aside, a long lost hope can be rekindled. Still, we should be grateful for whatever changes life throws at us. Because all too soon, the day will come when there are no changes left.
