Poleti v Planici: poglobljena letalnica redefinirala dolžino in uničila tradicionalne skoke

 

 

To, česar si agresivni mednarodni lobi dolgih poletov ni upal priznati in proti čemur so glasno opozarjali zagovorniki tradicionalnih skokov, se je danes v Planici že na uradnem treningu in kvalifikacijah izkazalo za resnično. Kdor ne skoči čez 200m, ni več zanimiv. Vse krajše skakalnice so postale odveč, ljudje si vsi želijo le še poletov preko 200m.

 

Zagovorniki daljših poletov so prepričani, da dobra praksa iz Vikersunda na Norveškem jasno kaže, da nova letalnica “nikomur nič ne jemlje, le tistim, ki želijo skakati dlje, to omogoča.” A nasprotniki so odločni, da bodo novo letalnico poskusili prepovedati, če ne drugače, tudi na referendumu. Po njihovem so poleti daleč preko 250m v nasprotju z naravnimi zakoni, ob njih pa vsi krajši poleti niso zanimivi in bodo v nekaj letih izumrli. Opozarjajo tudi pred uvedbo “teorije skoka” v vse skakalne šole, kjer da bodo potem mlade skakalce silili, naj raziskujejo svojo skakalnost in se sprašujejo pred ogledalom: “Sem letalec? Sem skakalec? Več kot 200m ali manj kot 200m?”

 

Tako imenovana “teorija skoka” je že obvezna v skakalnih šolah širom sveta, in kdor se z njo ne strinja, je lahko tudi odpuščen. Znane so zgodbe iz Norveške in Poljske, ker so trenerji pod enormnimi pritiski, teorijo skoka pa morajo učiti tudi v zasebnih klubih, sicer izgubijo javno financiranje!

I Think People Without Kids Have Empty Lives And I’m Not Sorry About It

 

 

I’m not saying you can’t have a happy life without kids. Of course you can. You can be happy making all kinds of choices, because people are adaptable and have a remarkable ability to make the best of things. You can also be happy as a racist, but that doesn’t make you an especially great person. I’m not saying that kid-free people are bad like being racist is bad. I’m simply illustrating the point that happiness does not equate to living a great life. My actual point is this: I don’t think people are somehow bad or wrong for not having kids – I just think it’s really, deeply sad. I feel tremendously sad for them.
