Ne ne, nisem vedela od kje izvira ta stavek, oz. kaj je bil prvoten pomen. Jaz poznam drugače prenesem pomen, oz. če poiščem na netu:
I love the phrase, "omnia mea mecum porto". Literally, it means, "all that I have I carry with me," and the meaning behind it is more along the lines of, "all that is of value, or all that I need, I carry with me." Although the phrase is Latin, it comes from an old Greek story of a man fleeing with nothing but the clothes on his back and someone stops him and asks him why he isn't trying to save his possessions. His response? "Omnia mea mecum porto." In other words, the only things that he really needs are things like courage, wisdom, charity, intelligence, self-reliance, adaptability, creativity, and so forth-- as long as he had those things, he didn't need any of the "Stuff".

Js pa "vse, kar je moje, nosim s seboj" razumem tudi na ta nacin, da nosis s seboj tudi recimo vse ljudi, ki so ti dragi, ker jih mas pac v srcu in vedno s sabo...

po vseh teh komentarjih ste me spomnle na mojo sošolko k me je sred enga lepga dne poklicala pa rekla: hej šuša! ti k si tk dobra v angleščini a mi lahko prevedeš ta stavk: "Never A Failure, Always A Lesson" ... za kake pol min sm utihnla, pa prašala ka pa to nucaš? pol sm ji pa povedla ka pomen in nasledn dan ga je mela tetoviranga pr kolku

Ne, ona nima žametnih oči in niti kodrov mehkih kakor svila,
če sneg je bel, ga v njenih nedrih ni in usta bi se od koral ločila.
Sem videl rože bele in rdeče, na njenih licih take ne cveto
in so dišave, ki so bolj dehteče, kot vonj, ki diha njeno ga telo.
Njen glas poslušam rad, četudi vem da zvoki strun prijetneje zvene,
kako boginje hodijo ne vem; ko ona hodi, stopa kot ljudje.
Pa vendar se mi zdi bolj očarljiva kot vse, ki pesem jih slavi lažniva.

Nekoč sem bil baraba. Počel sem le slabe stvari, ki so prizadele vse ljudi okrog mene, ki so me imeli radi. Čas je mineval in jaz sem odraščal. Spoznal sem ogromno dobrih ljudi, ki so mi pokazali veliko načinov kako se spopasti z življenjem. Zato sem jim neizmerno hvaležen. Nikoli nisem obžaloval nobenega, ki sem ga ljubil ali ki sem ga sovražil. Ljubezen je nagrada svoje vrste. Nikoli nisem obžaloval svoje radodarnosti, ki je moja narava in nikoli nisem obžaloval ljudi, ki so me izkoriščali. Naj se sliši še tako klišejsko ampak dajanje ljubezni mi je bilo vedno v največje veselje.
