Meni še vedno eden najboljših potopisnih avtorjev je Brian Thacker.
Zaenkrat sm prebrala sicer šele dve njegovi knjigi,ena pa me že nekaj časa čaka, da jo preberem.
Med branjem sm se velikokrat na glas smejala ker zna dogodke opisati res na zelo humoren in zabaven način.Tole res priporočam.

Travel Man: 48 Hours in ... ni tipična popotniška serija, ampak prikaže kraj ki ga obiščejo malce drugače in precej zabavno.

Te dogodivščine so me veliko naučile. Predvsem to, da je treba vedno na situacijo gledati z večih plati; in takrat, ko res več ne veš, kaj bi naredil, se usedeš in od srca nasmejiš godlji, v katero si se zapletel. Te situacije te največ naučijo – kako se ti odzivaš v krizi, kako se odzivajo ljudje, s katerimi potuješ in ali imaš eno najbolj pomembnih odlik – iznajdljivost. “There is always a way out.” Brez takih dogodivščin bi bilo vsako potovanje dolgočasno, predvsem pa enako potovanju nekoga drugega. In to bi uničilo čar, kajti vsak človek vsako državo, mesto ali ulico začuti povsem drugače. Verjetno sem jaz edina, ki sem stranišče na železniški postaji v Jakarti začutila gola.
Po prebranem sem se nasmejala tudi sama in točno vem, o čem piše. Ta prigoda s sekretom je sicer res wtf.
