Slovenci in 1. svetovna vojna 1914 - 1918 - slovenski dokumentarec o prvi svetovni vojni. Pravkar se prvi del vrti na prvem kanalu RTV.

Rekviem za Detroit? (Requiem for Detroit?)

 

Ta fascinanten dokumentarec predstavlja zgodbo o detroitski avtomobilski industriji skozi oči ljudi, ki so jo doživeli na lastni koži.

Na podlagi arhivskih posnetkov iz časov, ko je mesto doživljalo svoj največji razcvet, ter neukrotljive glasbe, ki še danes prihaja iz Detroita, od ragtima in rapa do techno glasbe; ta dokumentarec prikaže vzpon in padec 'velikih treh' - General Motorsa, Forda in Chryslerja, ter kakšne posledice je imel njihov padec za mesto.

Dokumentarec vsebuje intervjuje z ljudmi, ki danes živijo med zapuščenimi avtomobilskimi tovarnami, zaprtimi šolami in propadajočo infrastrukturo, torej v senci tistih, ki živijo v potrošniški utopiji v predmestju. Kakšne so dobre in slabe strani mesta, ki je odvisno od svoje industrije?

Na National Geographic imajo zdaj serijo dokumentarcev "The 90's".

 

Odlična zadeva, ki na kratko pokaže vse, kar se je takrat dogajalo po svetu in kaj smo doživeli. Nekatere stvari se spomnim, nekatere so šle pa čisto mimo mene.
