B-E-S-T pita ever. Nadbožanska. Dala sem domače višnje.

 

Pastry

2 cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons shortening
4 to 6 tablespoons cold water

Filling

1 1/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
6 cups sour cherries, pitted
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, if desired

 

 

Heat oven to 425°F. In medium bowl, mix 2 cups flour and the salt. Cut in shortening, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until particles are size of small peas. Sprinkle with cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, tossing with fork until all flour is moistened and pastry almost leaves side of bowl (1 to 2 teaspoons more water can be added if necessary).

Gather pastry into a ball. Divide pastry in half; shape into 2 rounds. Wrap flattened rounds of pastry in plastic wrap; refrigerate about 45 minutes or until dough is firm and cold, yet pliable.

Roll pastry on lightly floured surface, using floured rolling pin, into circle 2 inches larger than upside-down 9-inch glass pie plate. Fold pastry into fourths and place in pie plate; or roll pastry loosely around rolling pin and transfer to pie plate. Unfold or unroll pastry and ease into plate, pressing firmly against bottom and side and being careful not to stretch pastry, which will cause it to shrink when baked.

In large bowl, mix sugar and 1/2 cup flour. Stir in cherries. Spoon into pastry-lined pie plate. Cut butter into small pieces; sprinkle over cherries. Cover with top pastry that has slits cut in it; seal and flute. Cover edge with 2- to 3-inch strip of foil to prevent excessive browning; remove foil during last 15 minutes of baking.

Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust. Cool on cooling rack at least 2 hours before serving.

Ne bi za torto, bi kakšen biskvit ali muffine.

Nimam recepta, ampak za muffine vzames bilokateri recept, svojega najljubsega, in dodas notri borovnice. Ali pa jogurt + borovnice, se boljse pride.

Jaz sem lani nekaj ful dobrega naredila, osnova so bili uni baby piškoti, malo namočeni s kakšnim kompotom/sokom, potem pa sem naredila kremo s skuto (in smetano?, ne spomnim se več točno) ter noter zmešala borovnice in to namazala čez kekse, ful pride dobro, res. V kremo lahko daš pomoje tudi maskarpone ali pa narediš puding namesto kreme?

Ne biskvita! Raje kaksno pito! Borovnice najbolj pridejo do izraza v jogurtnih/ skutinih sladicah. Imam na fb v enem zasebnem sporocilu, ti bom posredovala.

Edit: te ne najdem :D pripopam tukaj:


Sadna pita

Osnovno testo za pito
30 dag moke (pol ostre, pol gladke)
20 dag masla
1 rumenjak
5 dag mletega sladkorja
1 zlica ruma
1 vanilin
1/2 pecilnega praska (lahko nadomestis z vinskim kamnom)

3/4 teste uporabis za dno, 1/4 ga prihranis za trakce, ki se razporedijo po vrhu peciva.

Zmesas sestavine, nato naj testo pociva v hladilniku 1-2 uri. Testo porazdelis po pekacu, tudi po stranicah pekaca, v visini 1/2 stranice. Testo na dnu pekaca veckrat prepikas. Sledi skutna plast.

Skutni nadev:
25 dag skute
scep soli
1 zlica sladkorja
1 jajce
vanilin sladkor
limonin sok in naribana limonina lupinica
zlica ruma

Sadni nadev
75 dag jabolk olupis, naribas na tanke listice, podusis na maslu s sladkorjem in cimetom, lahko dodas poljubno se malo drugega sadja (pest zamrznjenih visenj ali malin). Dusis 15 minut. Na koncu dodas zlico ruma (po okusu). Ohladis in nadevas v pekac preko skutne plasti.

1/4 testa, ki ga prej prihranis, sedaj razvaljas na tanke trakce poljubne oblike in jih polozis preko sadnega nadeva.

Mere pekaca: 28x18 cm
Peces pri 175 stopinj C 35-40 minut.

Mamin nasvet: Jabolka/sadje pripravis med tem, ko testo pociva, da je nadev hladen.

Meni je najboljše pecivo to, gre s kakršnimkoli sadjem:

pol kg skute

2 jajci

navadni jogurt

8 žlic ovsenih kosmičev ali moke

5 žlic sladkorja

pecilni prašek

vanilija

Vse skupaj zmešaš, po vrhu daš sadje in pečeš okoli 3/4 ure na 180°C.

Jaz tudi razmišljam, kaj bi naredila. Pri starih starših ga imajo cel nasad, delajo ribezovo vino. Mogoče sprobam to tortico, to lahko celo low carb naredim. :D

Vsem poznana nutellina torta. samo da sem jaz dodala še višnje in jo navlažila s sokom od kompota.

^ Danes sem naredila in je njam². :D Sem pa dala namesto javorjevega sirupa kostanjev med (skoraj pol manjšo količino), pa nekaj več mandljeve moke (skupaj celo vrečko; 200 g), ker nisem nič tehtala.

Ful je lahko in osvežilno, ravno za poletje. Mi pa ni jasno, zakaj v receptu piše da je velika količina, masa za spodnji del komaj prekrije manjši steklen pekač. Če bi prepolovila, kot piše, nimam pojma kam bi dala pečt.
