Sem ga razrezala, ker gre v skrinjo.

Torej - skorjica je res zakon, prav hrustlja. Pekla sem ga na 230 stopinjah, kar je nekako 450 F.

Jaz ga danes delam že drugič, masa je stala skoraj 20 ur.

Naj pa opozorim, da je delanje tega kruha ena manjša packarija. Ko prestavite maso na krpo,
pazite, da jo dovolj pomokate, če ne se vam bo prijela na krpo, in bo celo sranje. Se ne šalim.

Pa lepi se kot žvečilni gumi. :huh: Tako da raje še malo pomokajte.

Bom videla kako mi danes uspe, zdaj zopet vzhaja (tisti dodatni 2 uri).

Pa še to: ko kruh prestavite v pečico, obvezno spodaj peki papir, če ne se prime na dno kot žvečilni na podplat. :rtfm:

Jaz tega ne štekam:

3. Bake: Your dough should have doubled in size. Remove pot from oven. Holding towel, turn over and dump wobbly dough into pot, using your hands to get the dough off the towel. Doesn't matter which way it lands. Shake to even dough out. Cover. Bake 30 minutes. Uncover, bake another 15-20 minutes or until the crust is beautifully golden and middle of loaf is 210F.

S čim pa naj bi bil pokrit, ko se peče?
Jaz morda ju3 poskusim. Kvas si dala v prahu?

Jaz sem ga tako delala:

dala sem 3 skodelice (pač mera cups) moke (2 in pol bele moke, in pol pirine, ker mi je bele zmanjkalo)
nato sem dala poleg kvas v prahu
žličko soli
ter skodelico in pol mlačne vode

Vse sem premešala (nisem dolgo, 2 minuti), pokrila s kuhinjsko krpo in pustila na pultu 20 ur.

Naslednji dan sem pomokala površino, dala to maso (pride res taka zabavna, mehka, z mehurčki - ne se ustrašit) na pult, in pregnetila (zopet na kratko,
samo nekaj krat sem obrnila testo). Dala počivati še za 2 uri.

Nato sem dala v steklen in okrogel pekač (zaradi oblike moraš peči v neki okrogli stvari), NISEM POKRILA, in je uspelo fenomenalno.

Pač pekla sem ga 45 minut na 230 stopinjah, na spodnji rešetki.

Pokrit je bil samo ko je vzhajal, med peko pa ne.

ARGHHHH. Kako se meni VEDNO dogajajo take stvari. Že lepo naredim mešanico za moko (naredila bom pol PZ, pol bele) in ugotovim, da nimam kvasa. NMJ. V trgovino se mi pa ne da oz. nimam časa.

Freya, po moje da ja. :) Škoda za kvas, poznam to, tudi meni večkrat česa zmanjka, ko sem sredi priprave. Naredi ga zvečer in pusti čez noč.

Saj bom šla čez eno uro vseeno po kvas ja, da bo zjutraj svež, topel kruh za zajtrk, mmm!
Še eno vpr. - koliko si dala kvasa, eno čajno žličko (po receptu)? Ker meni to ful malo zveni.

Ja, točno po receptu, imam sedaj merice iz Anglije, in je vse natančno izmerjeno (prej je pa bilo vse od oka, pa je vseeno uspelo). ;)

Jaz ima tudi zelo enostaven recept za kruh:
1. dan: v skodelici zmešaš 1 dcl mrzle vode, žličko soli in pol kocke kvasa.
Zmes pustiš preko noči, stati mora najmanj 4 ure in največ 48 ur.
Naslednji dan zmešaš to zmes, dodaš pol kile moke, žlico olja in 2, 5 dl tople vode. Če delam iz polnozrnate moke dam malo več vode.
Zmešaš na hitro, toliko da rata lepo testo in daš vzhajati za 75 minut. Po tem času ga pregneteš in pustiš vzhajati 15 minut.
Pečeš ga na 200 stopinj 40 minut, jaz potem pečico ugasnem in ga pustim še 10 minut. Pred peko ga malo namažeš z vodo, da je skorja bolj hrustljava.
Danes popoldne ga bom delala, bom dodala še slikovno gradivo.

Evo, moja masa je že pridno pod krpo. Razmišljam, da bi si naštimala budilko ob ene 5h, da ga pregnetem in potem počiva do 7h, ko itak vstanem in ga dam pečt, da bo pečen ravno za zajtrk. :D
