Demonstrators march through the streets from the Al Husseini Mosque to protest the appointment of new Prime Minister, Marouf Bakhit on February 4, 2011 in Amman, Jordan. The protest was called several days ago by the Islamic Action Front, the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. The protest was attended by several hundred demonstrators after Friday prayers, but following a meeting with King Abdullah last night the IAF didn't attend the protest. Marouf Bakhit was appointed by King Abdullah, and along with the King, has promised that there will be political reforms including a dialogue with opposition parties.

Bodyguards
Gaddafi's choice of bodyguards has been the subject of much media attention. His 40-member bodyguard contingent, known as the Amazonian Guard, is entirely female. All women who qualify for duty supposedly must be virgins, and are hand-picked by Gaddafi himself. They are trained in the use of firearms and martial arts at a special academy before entering service.
